Best almond croissant I have ever had. This is going to make it very hard to eat croissants anywhere else. Pleasant outdoor seating area too, for a relaxing morning coffee and pastry!

A vendor brought in salads and pastries from Dolcetti and YUM, YUM! The salad was unique, quinoa, arugula and grapefruit with an excellent and tangy dressing. The tarts were amazing.....I'm really picky about sweets. Most of the time, I think they taste processed or too sticky sweet. The crust on the tarts was perfectly balanced, crispy not soggy and the fillings were smooth and creamy. This was really good after sitting around for an hour before eating...I can only imagine if I had been able to eat this right after ordering. Excellent!

I can't say enough about this place. The pastries, quiche, salads and sandwiches are so delicious. The menu is small but you can't go wrong with anything you choose. The Intelligentsia coffee is a bonus!

Pain au chocolate (chocolate croissant). Was probably the worst I have ever had in Chicago. Maybe it was just old. Top was Burnt, not to be confused with caramelized, inside extremely dry and heavy. Didn't resemble any I've had in France numerous times. Will go back to try other items but would suggest you don't go with the intention of having a "french" experience .

I walked into Dolcetti Patisserie thinking, "yeah sure, a patisserie in Park Ridge - show me whatch got". So, what did I find? A gem. I talked to the owner (co-owner) and basically said, show me what you've got. He told me that his wife was the chef, and made all of the pastries herself. They looked beautiful, but the proof was in the tasting. Here, I'm going to take a little stroll back. In the early 80's when I lived in L.A., Gourmet magazine touted a little hole in the wall place called Michel Richard. My wife and I made the trek from Pasadena to downtown L.A. to see what this little patisserie was like. We were amazed by the pastries, the charcuterie, and the perfection of the place. Michel Richard grew into huge hot spot. We made many trips back there during our time in L.A. for the amazing food. So now 2015 - the pastries at Dolcetti are nothing short of perfect. I took home a raspberry tart, a lemon tart, an "Opera" napoleon, and a salted caramel tart. We ate them all in one setting. The pastry chef at Dolcetti has a real gift. These pastries were absolutely the best I've had since Michel Richard - and definitely on a par with the best there. The pastry short crust, even after sitting in the case all day, was perfectly crisp. The fillings were fantastic - and the fruit on top was sweet and luscious, not the winter beautiful but tasteless varieties. Even the meringue on the top of the lemon tart stood on its own - i could have eaten it minus the perfect lemon filling. Ok, so enough gushing - please support this little patisserie. Park Ridge doesn't often get such quality/ I guess the area residents either don't know or support this level of quality. Maybe this time they will. Hopefully Dolcetti will last - i know that my wife and i will be weekly customers.

Best coffee in Park Ridge! Support your local businesses! This is a great addition to our neighborhood. Friendly owners and great bakery options. Try a scone or the almond crescent.

The ham and egg croissant was delicious. The coffee is really good, too. Since my last review, they've changed their hours which is good. I've had a few of the pastries now as well and they are incredible.

This cafe is so SO good! Definitely recommend their salads - they are light and so fresh! I've had many of their pastries too which are to die for! I've heard their Iced Tea is really good but I haven't had the chance to give it a try yet. Definitely a must stop place!

This was an excellent, quaint cafe located in a great part of downtown Park Ridge. We had some very good coffee (Intelligentsia). The roast beef gourmet sandwich was unique and very tasty. We also had one of their pastries and it was very, very good. I think we found a great local establishment to visit for coffee/sandwiches/bakery. Also...in the summer the outdoor sitting area looked very tranquil and would be awesome.

A great family owned cafe right in the center of Uptown Park Ridge. Friendly and helpful staff, combined with fresh ingredients, and made-to-order sandwiches and salads. They also have a wide range of homemade desserts, ranging from Tiramisu to Mini-Cheesecake. They serve Intelligentsia coffee, so you already know that's quality. Early morning hours during the week (6:30am) for all you commuters, and it's right by the train station. Highly recommend this little spot in Uptown.

Soooo good! You absolutely must try the gourmet hot chocolate--it's by far the best thing you will ever taste in your entire life. Don't cheap out and get the regular -- spring for the ganache! It's just as good or better than the Peninsula. The owner is a true chocalatier! Everything here is top-notch.

If you taste one of their almond or chocolate croissants, you'll understand the difference between a baker and a pastry chef. Wow. They have savory items as well and great coffee. The proprietor and staff are lovely and the location is within reach of the train. With pet-friendly outdoor seating (more please) this has become our favorite neighborhood go to location to relax and treat ourselves. Don't miss it!

A great addition to Park Ridge! Everything they make is top notch. The owners are very friendly and really appreciate their customers. We've tried many of the items from the menu and haven't met one we didn't like so far. They even serve Intelligentsia coffee! It's quickly becoming one of our routine destinations every weekend.

I've been here twice now and each time have been very impressed by the food. The pastries are some of the best I've ever had and the variety of options are seemingly endless. Lunch fare is pretty good with a changing menu of various paninis and salads. Plus, they serve intelligentsia coffee - one of the best local roasters in Chicago.
